Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and review of policies, technical standards, and guidance for building control, regulations, and Dutyholder compliance.

- Bring building control expertise into multi-disciplinary teams assessing Gateway 2 applications, Safety Case Reports, and complex investigations or enforcement cases.
- Support technical policy teams by sharing expertise at key meetings and discussions.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Registered Building Inspector (Class 3H) – fully registered and ready to operate. We would be open to a 2F if near 3H completion.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations, compliance requirements, and the new regulatory framework.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulation in complex real-world scenarios with clarity and confidence.
- Skilled at influencing, collaborating, and building effective relationships across disciplines.

CHPK Group has a fantastic opportunity for a Clerk of Works to join its Project Management team team based in London on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly to the Building Consultancy Director, this role requires someone with a communicative, confident and proactive approach. As a Clerk of Works, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality and progress of construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, regulations, and company standards. The role will be predominantly around facades and façade remediation projects, though you may be expected to undertake roles within other projects, dependant on the business needs. You will act as a vital link between our clients, contractors, and the company. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the successful completion of projects and the maintenance of our reputation for delivering superior surveying services in line with our core values.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and monitor construction projects to ensure adherence to specifications, drawings, and regulations.
- Verify that construction work is carried out in accordance with agreed schedules, quality standards, and best practices.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, defects, or deviations from specifications promptly to the relevant parties for rectification.
- Review and evaluate contractor's workmanship, materials, and construction methods to ensure compliance with project requirements.

- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and regulations in the UK.
- Excellent understanding of building codes, health and safety guidelines, and quality standards.
- Sound technical expertise and the ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities
This 18-month, Level 3 Diploma in Water Process Technology is a blend of real-world experience and structured learning. You will spend 20% of your time in a formal training environment, supported by both internal and external training providers. The remaining 80% will be hands-on, working out in the field alongside experienced professionals, where you will develop practical skills and apply what you've learned.
As part of this apprenticeship, you'll get involved in major engineering and infrastructure projects, including reservoir outages and chlorination activities, which will provide you with insight into high-impact operations within the clean water sector.
Throughout the programme, you'll gain a wide range of technical and practical skills, including:
- Analysing and assessing network performance, including water pressure, flow, and leakage
- Investigating and resolving network performance issues
- Applying procedures to reduce the risk of supply interruptions
- Maintaining water networks, equipment, and systems such as pumps and control valves
- Supervising street works and ensuring safety on-site
- Using electronic location equipment to identify underground cables
- Applying hydraulic principles to diagnose faults within the network

Key Responsibilities
You'll Work Closely With Our Existing Technicians, Project Managers, And Field Supervisors To Support a Wide Range Of Clean Water Operations, Including
- Support & undertake day to day activities across a multitude of our clean water services, primarily focused on providing support on asset verification, DMA validation, operability testing, trunk main isolations, logger and probe deployments providing hands on support.
- Assisting in carrying out DMA flow & pressure tests, while gaining experience in optimisation techniques to spot anomalies & finding resolutions which can ensure a safe result.
- Support delivery of chemical to chlorination
- Assist in the safe set up of sites as well as supporting fleet logistics
- Maintenance of the disinfection depots, equipment & vehicles (including stock for upcoming work)
- Using GIS plans & other reference documents to undertake onsite point of work risk assessment & comprehensive site report and submit these in a client-ready state to the Project Support Team using a smart device
- Support & report to the office-based project teams in finding solutions to issues as & when they arise, reporting & escalating where necessary
