Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join their globally distributed team. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from any location while contributing to vital infrastructure projects. The Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the design, planning, and oversight of civil engineering projects, including transportation systems, water and wastewater facilities, and land development. You will apply advanced engineering principles and software to develop detailed design documents, manage project timelines, ensure compliance with regulations, and contribute to the technical excellence of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and plan civil infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, water supply, and sanitation networks.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents using CAD software.
  • Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies.
  • Perform structural analysis and calculations for infrastructure components.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international engineering codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Oversee construction activities and provide technical support to site engineers.
  • Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Collaborate with architects, environmental consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Utilize advanced engineering software for design and analysis.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project management.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and relevant civil engineering design and analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, soil mechanics, hydrology, and hydraulics.
  • Experience in project planning, scheduling, and budget management.
  • Knowledge of construction methods and materials.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
  • Ability to work independently and lead projects in a remote environment.
  • Experience with environmental impact assessments is a plus.
