Summary of Position:
Provide direct clinical supervision and instruction for students in the Baccalaureate Degree Nursing program as assigned within the acute care or community clinical setting.
This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis.
This posting is being used for face to face and/or online instruction. However, the candidate selected for the position must reside and perform the work in Michigan after acceptance of employment. The anticipated start date of this position is August 2025 at the earliest and January 2026 at the latest. However, these are estimated dates and can be revised if needed.

Master of Science in Nursing; or Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and graduate degree in nursing completed within two years of hire.

Two years of RN clinical experience through clinical practice or other avenues.

Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered:

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide direct clinical supervision and instruction to students in the Pre-Licensure Baccalaureate Degree nursing program.
Faculty members also have professional responsibilities, which may include but are not limited to keeping regular posted office hours (which are scheduled at times convenient for students) and participation in traditional functions which have academic significance (i.e. reporting initial student participation data and submitting final grades on time). Faculty may be required to teach off-campus or in an on-line environment.
Cultivates an environment of belonging that values, respects, supports, and celebrates individual similarities and differences, allowing students, faculty and staff to thrive authentically.
Support, promote, and develop University student enrollment and retention initiatives.
Any other duties assigned within the position classification area.

Summary of Position:
Part-time doctoral-level teaching in the area of community college/higher education governance and policy at campus locations and online (hybrid delivery). In addition to teaching, part-time faculty are also responsible for typical course-related tasks (assessment, course development, and quarterly faculty meetings).

Summary of Position:
We are seeking adjunct faculty to teach one course or a variety of courses, in one or more of the following degree programs: Building Construction Technology AAS, Civil Engineering Technology AAS, and Construction Management BS. In addition to the more common topics associated with the degree programs, experience in construction, surveying, construction finance, construction law, and virtual design and construction will be considered. Assignments may be lectures or labs; face-to-face, blended or online; in Big Rapids and/or Grand Rapids. A focus on student success, office hours, and use of current technology are expected.

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Technology, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or appropriate related field and an MBA plus eight years (8) full-time US commercial or industrial construction experience with increasing levels of responsibility (this is required to teach 300 and 400 level courses) OR
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Technology, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or appropriate related field and ten (10) years full-time US commercial or industrial construction experience with increasing levels of responsibility (this is required to teach 100 and 200 level construction courses).

Approved adjuncts who have not received appointment may be asked to provide a minimum of one lecture or lab delivery per academic year as a demonstration of their interest and an opportunity for adjunct faculty development and preparation.
Maintain a minimum of one hour per week per course section for office hours to meet with students outside of class or lecture at a time convenient to the students.
Faculty members also have professional responsibilities which may include but are not limited to: keeping regular posted office hours (which are scheduled at times convenient for students), and participation in traditional functions which have academic significance (ex. reporting initial student participation data and submitting final grades on time). Faculty may be required to teach off-campus or in an on-line environment.
