**Job Responsibilities**
The WHE Certification Official is responsible for administering, monitoring, and documenting Wheeled Handling Equipment (WHE) certification and qualification programs in accordance with U.S. Navy and Department of Defense safety and operational standards. Responsibilities include evaluating operator proficiency, verifying training requirements, and ensuring personnel are properly certified to operate assigned equipment.
The Certification Official conducts practical and written assessments, reviews operator performance, and maintains accurate certification records and files. This role includes coordinating with supervisors, safety personnel, and training staff to ensure compliance with equipment‑specific and site‑specific certification requirements.
Additional duties include tracking certification expirations, scheduling re‑certifications, supporting inspections and audits, and providing guidance on WHE safety and operational procedures. **Minimum Requirements**
+ 1-3 years of experience in equipment operation, training, certification, or safety compliance
