- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple product initiatives simultaneously, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Lead and mentor product delivery teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within a remote setting.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales teams to define product roadmaps and ensure successful execution.
- Implement and refine agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to optimize team velocity and product quality.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and impediments, developing effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication across all levels of the organization regarding product delivery status, milestones, and potential challenges.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in product development, testing, and deployment within the remote team structure.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet market needs and customer requirements.
- Conduct post-launch analysis to gather feedback and identify opportunities for product enhancement and iteration.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in product management or product delivery, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex software product launches and scaling products.
- Expertise in agile and lean development methodologies, with practical experience in Scrum or Kanban.
- Proven ability to lead and manage remote or distributed engineering and product teams effectively.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various technical stacks.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.

The MEA Business Development Sales role is a strategic position within Citi's Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) business, responsible for driving new client acquisition, revenue growth, and wallet expansion across the Middle East & Africa region.
The successful candidate will focus on originating and winning new business with multinational corporations, regional champions, public sector institutions, sovereign-related entities, government-owned corporations, and multilateral organizations. Working closely with Banking, Public Sector, Product, and Implementation partners, the individual will lead complex sales pursuits from opportunity identification through mandate award and revenue realization.
This role requires a highly commercial and externally focused executive with a proven ability to develop senior client relationships, originate large-scale treasury opportunities, and successfully navigate complex organizations to deliver market-leading cash management, payments, liquidity, collections, and trade-related solutions.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Develop and execute a strategic business development plan focused on acquiring new TTS clients and wallet share across the Middle East & Africa.
+ Build and maintain a target list of underpenetrated and prospect clients under a "Hunting License" mandate, leveraging wallet-sizing analytics, market intelligence, and close partnership with Corporate Banking, BCMA, and Public Sector teams.
+ Originate, lead, and close complex TTS opportunities involving cash management, payments, liquidity management, receivables, payables, escrow, trade, and digital treasury solutions.
+ Engage senior decision-makers including CFOs, Treasurers, Finance Directors, , senior government officials and Board-level stakeholders.
+ Acquire new TTS flows from Corporates, Government-Owned Entities, Public Sector institutions and other strategic sectors.
+ Lead end-to-end deal execution, including opportunity qualification, solution design, commercial structuring, RFP management, client presentations, negotiations, implementation governance, and revenue realization.
+ Assemble and coordinate cross-functional deal teams across Product, Banking, Implementation, Service, Risk, Legal, and Operations to deliver winning client outcomes.
+ Drive proactive client engagement through innovative solutioning, thought leadership, and consultative selling, positioning Citi as the strategic treasury partner of choice.
+ Maintain leading-edge knowledge of treasury trends, payments innovation, regulatory developments, competitive positioning, and evolving client needs across the region.
+ Act as a trusted advisor to clients while providing market insights and client feedback to Product and Coverage partners to help shape strategic priorities and solution development.
+ Ensure rigorous sales discipline through effective pipeline management, forecasting, deal reviews, CRM governance, and implementation project kick-offs.
+ Deliver against annual goals for new client acquisition, revenue generation, deposits, fee growth, and strategic business development initiatives.
**Qualifications:**
+ 10+ years of experience in transaction banking, treasury services, cash management, payments, trade finance, corporate banking, or related financial services.
+ Proven track record of originating and closing large, complex, multi-country transaction banking and treasury mandates.
+ Deep expertise across Cash Management, Payments, Liquidity Management, and broader Treasury & Trade Solutions capabilities.
+ Demonstrated success leading major RFPs, strategic pursuits, competitive bids, and complex negotiations.

+ Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
