**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Current certification as an **Arborist (ISA Certified Arborist®)** from the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) or equivalent qualification.
+ 2-4 years of experience in arboriculture or grounds maintenance, including tree health assessment, trimming, and pest/disease management.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Proficiency in operating and maintaining landscaping and tree care equipment, including chainsaws, pruning tools, stump grinders, and similar machinery.
+ Knowledge of vegetation species, pruning techniques, disease diagnostics, and treatment best practices.
+ Understanding and adherence to landscaping and safety standards relevant to DoD operations, as outlined in applicable guidelines.
+ Ability to identify and maintain vegetation in and around various objects, such as fence lines, pipelines, buildings, and structures.
+ Physical ability to handle outdoor maintenance tasks, including working at heights and lifting heavy objects, in a range of environmental conditions.
+ Excellent communication and organizational skills to maintain documentation and coordinate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
+ Must be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
+ Passport should be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.
+ Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for the duration of deployment.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Prior experience in an austere OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) environment with a multi-national workforce is preferred.
+ Valid country driver's license and passport.
+ Country visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide).
+ Experience providing landscaping and arborist services within government or military facilities.
+ Advanced certifications such as the **ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ)** or similar.
+ Knowledge and experience working with Service Level Standards, specifically J- for improved grounds maintenance.
+ Familiarity with environmental regulations and safety procedures such as OSHA or DoD landscaping standards.

**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Leading the day-to-day administration of UH operations and appropriated funds.
