two refugee camps, Dadaab and Kakuma, and four counties (Garissa,
Turkana, West Pokot and Nairobi), the IRC implements programs in the
sectors of health, Nutrition, governance & rights, and women’s
protection & empowerment, Economic Recovery and Development, as well
as providing emergency response through a network of four field
offices and a range of institutional and community-based partnerships.
Job Overview/Summary :
The Recruiter is primarily responsible for the
recruitment function in the country program, the position holder will
work on the identification, screening, interviewing and referral of
candidates for potential employment with IRC Kenya Program. Working in
partnership with hiring managers, they will provide direction on
sourcing techniques, recruitment, hiring and tracking of all ongoing
recruitment. The Recruiter will be responsible for developing and
maintaining a large network of current and potential candidates for
key positions and for working collaboratively with other specialists,
ensuring IRC Kenya can identify and secure impactful / high potential
staff in alignment with IRC’s Strategic Ambitions, including the
Gender, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (GEDI) action priorities.
The Recruiter will also lead internal staff mobility and support with
workforce planning. Responsibilities
