Full Job Description

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand use cases, define requirements, and perform business analysis

  • Use best practice project management techniques to achieve project goals on time with a high level of quality, while managing expectations of stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with engineers towards achieving a clients set objectives and expectations
  • Drive the tracking and management of roadmaps, project schedules, risks/mitigation plans, deliverables and KPI’s
  • Communicate program status, program readiness, business and technical issues, risks and their resolution across Engineering, including senior management
  • Utilize your technical background to help drive resolution to complex technical issues across various teams
  • Strong experience with Agile project management methodologies
  • Conduct project post-mortem and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
  • Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitment if necessary during project cycle
  • Manages appropriate actions to ensure adherence to the established project plan, schedule, and budget. Can multi-task across multiple projects.
  • Records and documents delays, changes in scope, and any other incidents that impact the scope of work or schedule to ensure smooth project operations.
  • Pursues all cost saving opportunities to maximize project profitability.
  • Performs critical path analysis and prepares and implements work-around plans to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Conducts meetings, consolidates, and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s).
  • Identifies and reacts to project problems and recommends solutions, such as reallocating resources or changing contractual specifications.
  • Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
  • Oversees and coordinates the administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines.
  • Liaises between project management and planning, project teams, and operations.
  • Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contracts.
  • Maintains project and budget status, manages schedules and prepares reports.
  • Monitors and assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Directs the work of employees assigned on projects in technical manufacturing and administrative areas.
  • Maintains the integrated master schedule for project(s).

 



Requirements

Academic Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related Engineering fields.
  • Professional Certification (PMP)
  • Computer Literacy

Relevant Experience

  • 2-3 years of progressively professional responsible experience in a related field.
