The Thomson Reuters Foundation is the corporate
foundation of Thomson Reuters, the global news and information

TrustLaw is the global pro bono service of the Thomson
Reuters Foundation. As the world’s leading pro bono legal service,
TrustLaw helps high-impact NGOs and social enterprises, to grow,
streamline their operations and navigate complex laws and regulations
by connecting them with free legal assistance from the best law firms
and corporate legal teams around the world. We also facilitate
groundbreaking legal research on key social and policy issues that our
partners use to support their advocacy and law reform efforts, and we
deliver innovative capacity-building workshops on legal issues across
the globe.
In recent years, TrustLaw has also expanded to
facilitate access to legal support for journalists and independent
media organizations in need, to help protect and defend them from the
growing legal threats used to silence or punish their reporting on
matters of public interest. Leveraging our pro bono service and global
legal network, TrustLaw increasingly contributes to TRF’s programmes
portfolio through the delivery of innovative legal support, research
and capacity-building as part of dynamic and impactful funded projects
that combine TRF’s unique media and legal offerings.
The
Programme Administrator provides entry-level support with
administration of global TrustLaw programming and initiatives and
completes administrative tasks related to supporting the TrustLaw
team. The Programme Administrator reports into TrustLaw’s Head
of Delivery.
About the Role
As a
Programme Administrator at Thomson Reuters Foundation, you
will:
Work with the Head of Delivery in supporting TrustLaw team administrative duties.
Support vetting, chasing and feedback collection of NGO, social enterprises, and legal members of TrustLaw across regions to ensure TrustLaw quality and growth metrics are met.
Coordinates quarterly reporting, team guidance updates and supports team on Salesforce dashboards, metrics, and reporting queries.
Administer the service, for example through inputting into databases, planners, and trackers, running Salesforce reports, ensuring accounts and projects have up-to-date information, inputting into quarterly reports, responding to requests for information, etc.
Provide coordination and logistical support for the annual TrustLaw Awards, and for certain priority global or regional events and initiatives as required.
Coordinate team meetings, global internal team events, and team inductions/system set-up, and support the TrustLaw Director and Heads with scheduling team planning sessions, Hubs Week, Pro Bono Council and Advisory Board meetings and other meetings/working sessions as needed.
Support the coordination of financial reporting and administration for the TrustLaw team, liaising with the TrustLaw Coordinator and TRF Finance department.
About You
To be our Programme Administrator , you will likely have:
Demonstrable experience in a similar role (such as general administration, customer service, PA or similar)
A proactive, process-oriented individual with excellent client relationship skills and strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to establish and maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally, with people from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds.
Fluent English is a must and additional languages would be preferred.
A highly motivated self-starter, with an ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Experience with sophisticated databases, including Salesforce, an advantage.
Experience working in the non-profit, development or legal sectors an advantage.
