Main
Objective
The Marketing Executive is a
resourceful and innovative mind responsible for adapting the brand
strategy for Kibo’s target market. He /she maintains brand integrity
across all company marketing initiatives and communications and will
manage the product portfolio.
Position outline
- Evaluate and review
marketing campaigns, advertising and SEO to make sure the correct
mediums are being used and campaigns are effective
- Track marketing performance and return on investment and
prepare weekly or monthly reports for management
- Monitor and report on competitor activity
- Lead external agencies, when appropriate, to effectively
manage events, press relationships, editorial requests, presentations,
promotional materials and online activities
Principle function responsibilities
- Create awareness of and develop the brand
- Communicate with target audiences and build and
develop customer relationships
- Help with marketing
plans, advertising, direct marketing and campaigns
- Support the supervisor in delivering agreed activities
- Source advertising opportunities and place adverts in the
press or on the radio
- Work closely with in-house or
external creative agencies to design marketing materials such as
brochures and adverts
- Write and proofread marketing
copy for both online and print campaigns
- Produce
creative content, including videos and blog posts
- Run
social media channels (e.g. Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn) to enhance
audience engagement
- Organise and attend events such as
conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
- Source and secure sponsorship
- Liaise with
designers and printers and organise photo shoots
- Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials
- Maintain and update customer databases
- Conduct market research, for example using customer
questionnaires and focus groups
- Develop relationships
with key stakeholders both internal and external.
Leadership & People Management
- Work with
Executives to ensure adoption of new systems to support efficient
information to support business goals and excellent service
- Oversee the interviewing, hiring, and training of new sales
employees to ensure qualified personnel are recruited
- Manage and oversee a team of Sales Executives (both based centrally
and remotely) and Clerks.
- Coordinating performance
management for the department to ensure high performance and retention
of staff
- Develop a sales training calendar (in-house
and external) to upskill the current sales taskforce.
- Ensure that customer issues are dealt with and resolved in an
efficient manner, informing necessary stakeholders of any issues while
working diligently to solve problems.
- Provide
appropriate response to client enquiries and assist with the
resolution of customer issues or complaints
Requirements

Education:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and communication
Experience needed
- 2-5 years of successful experience in
a similar role
- Strong communication skills and need to
maintain good relationships with colleagues and external contacts.
- Hands on attitude and are analytical and ambitious
