Tetra Pak Nairobi Factory has one opening for a Junior Machine Operator to fill a rewarding and challenging role that allows freedom with accountability while working directly with our Production team.
The Successful Candidate will report to the Senior Production Engineer.
- Prepare paperboard splices on time and as per standard
- Execute assigned tasks during setups to minimize setup time and waste
- Observe safe working behavior and maintain safe working environment.
- Participate in WCM process improvement teams for loss eradication.
- Ensure machine Autonomous Maintenance responsibilities and standards are maintained.
- Participate in machine loss eradication through analysis and implementing countermeasures
- Communicate any non-conformances to the process lead/process engineer.
- Identify anomalies and raise tags
- Remove tags by correcting anomalies
- Participate in WCM teams
- Create OPLs and SOPs
- Diploma in printing technology, Cartography, graphic design , or related field
- 2 years production/manufacturing machine operation experience
- Basic machine maintenance skills
- Understanding of Flexographic printing
- Understanding of WCM/ TPM
- Understanding of quality parameters
