Full Job Description
Negotiating with vendors such as HP, Dell, Microsoft, Cisco, Canon
etc. The ideal candidate should show experience dealing with these
vendors.Negotiating and Dealing with IT Distributors such as
Reddington, Mitsumi, Reddot etc.Operations and Logistics:
Organizing the sales and technical teams, and assigning them the
resources required to deliver their day-to-day operations.Managing
Client Accounts: Leading the team in preparing
proposals/tenders/quotations, closing deals, tracking sales and
payments.Sales Strategy: Expand the capabilities of the sales
and technical teams, to meet the sales targets and deliver new
products and services.RequirementsPre screening assessment:
Candidates are required to submit the pre-screening assessment
linked below: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration,
Marketing, or IT related field. A Masters degree is a
plus.Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales within the tech
or computing distribution sector, with at least 2 years in a
leadership role.The ideal candidate has dealt with vendors such as HP,
Dell, Microsoft and CISCO, as well as IT Distributors such as
Reddington and Mitsumi. The ideal candidate should have experience
with leading IT teams in preparing proposals/tenders/quotations for
government agencies, private organizations and Non-Governmental
Organizations (NGOs) in such services as: IT
Infrastructure: Networks, Maintenance, Managed Printing Services,
Printing Solutions, Servers.End User Computing: Distribution
of laptops, Desktops, Printers, Projectors, Scanners, SmartBoards and
UPSsEmployment Experience: For this position, the ideal
candidate will have had at least 5 years work experience in a similar
position in at an ICT Dealership handling similar clientele, vendors,
and distributors.Sales Prowess: Demonstrated ability to meet
and exceed sales quotas. Proficiency in developing sales strategies
