Company Overview:

Our client a leading manufacturing company in the metal and kitchenware industry, specializing in the production of high-quality products for both domestic and commercial markets, is seeking to hire a Furnace Operator who will be responsible for operating and maintaining our industrial furnaces used in the production of metal products. they will play a critical role in ensuring that the furnaces operate efficiently, consistently meeting production goals while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate industrial furnaces to melt and heat metals to specified temperatures.Monitor furnace temperature, pressure, and other parameters to ensure optimal performance.Load raw materials into the furnace and unload finished products.Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.Perform routine maintenance on furnaces and associated equipment.Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues to minimize downtime.Collaborate with production and quality control teams to meet production targets and ensure product quality.Maintain accurate records of furnace operations, including temperature logs, production output, and maintenance activities.Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.RequirementsDiploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.Proven experience as a Furnace Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the metal industry.Strong understanding of furnace operations and associated equipment.Ability to read and interpret technical documents and follow SOPs.Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and follow safety guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience with specific furnace models and brands used in metal manufacturing.Certification in furnace operation or related field.Familiarity with quality control processes in a manufacturing setting.

Working Conditions:

This position operates in a manufacturing environment where adherence to safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory. The Circle circle-cutting operator may be required to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy materials.
