We, iNet Africa are an internet company that is expanding our
operations in Nairobi, Kenya, and we are looking for an experienced
Business Development Manager to help us kickstart and handle our sales
in the region.
The ideal candidate
should have a strong background in connectivity sales but experience
in software sales will be an added advantage. They should be
passionate about driving business growth and expanding our customer
base.
Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities for the company in the Nairobi market.
Develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners in the software and network industry.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, trends, and opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Provide regular sales reports and updates to the management team.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in software and network sales.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with the Nairobi market and network of contacts is a plus.
