Job Description
+ Review requests for engineering services, as well as structure drawings and mappings, to determine whether adequate information is provided to complete the service.
+ Perform structural analyses of low to intermediate complexity using hand calculations, analysis software or other approved tools and generate required engineering reports.
+ Perform structure modification designs of low complexity, generate required engineering reports, and work with designers to generate modification drawings.
+ Review tower maintenance inspection reports and provide rectification solutions for low complexity tower defects.
+ Ensure engineering documents and records are systematically archived and databases/trackers are kept up to date.
+ Provide quality, timely, and accurate support for any enquiries and issues within defined areas of responsibility.
+ Provide regular status reports for workload, schedules and delivery to facilitate accurate reporting to management.
+ Basic knowledge of structural analysis and design methods and software.
+ Basic knowledge of structural engineering codes and standards.
+ Basic knowledge of CAD software, preferably AutoCAD.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
+ Attention to detail and focus on quality.
+ Strong follow-up skills, ability to organize timelines and follow-up with internal and external customer needs.
+ Good written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
+ Strong organizational skills, ability to accomplish multiple tasks within agreed timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
+ Self-motivated, able to work independently or with others to accomplish assigned tasks.
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field required.
+ Preferred experience includes at least one of the following:
+ Minimum of 1 year in analysis and design of communications structures.
+ Minimum of 1 year in analysis and design of non-communications structures.
+ Minimum of 2 years in construction or field engineering.
+ Working knowledge of TIA/EIA-222 standard and other relevant steel or concrete standards preferred.
+ Active member of professional organization or technical society preferred.
