Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
  • Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to reduce waste and improve output.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production-related problems and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements and new product introductions.
  • Manage projects related to equipment upgrades and facility enhancements.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operations.
  • Utilize data analytics and process monitoring tools to drive informed decisions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or P.Eng. designation is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations and process engineering.
  • Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
  • Experience with process automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead remote teams.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and data analysis tools.
This is a fully remote role supporting operations near Machakos, Machakos, KE .
