Our client, a leading technology firm, is looking for a highly skilled Senior Information Security Analyst specializing in Threat Intelligence. This position is fully remote, allowing you to contribute to our global security efforts from the convenience of your home office. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and disseminating threat intelligence to protect our organization's digital assets. This involves monitoring various sources, identifying emerging threats, assessing their potential impact, and developing actionable insights to enhance our security posture. You will work closely with incident response teams, security operations, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective threat mitigation.

Key responsibilities:
  • Proactively collect and analyze threat intelligence from diverse sources, including open-source intelligence (OSINT), dark web monitoring, security feeds, and proprietary tools.
  • Identify, track, and analyze advanced persistent threats (APTs), malware campaigns, and other cyber threats relevant to our industry.
  • Develop and maintain threat profiles of actors, campaigns, and malware families.
  • Produce timely and actionable threat intelligence reports, alerts, and briefings for various audiences, from technical teams to executive leadership.
  • Support incident response activities by providing context and intelligence on ongoing attacks.
  • Develop and refine threat hunting methodologies and hunting hypotheses based on intelligence.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of security tools and technologies used for threat intelligence gathering and analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal security teams and external partners to share intelligence and coordinate defensive actions.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the overall growth of the threat intelligence program.
  • Stay current with the latest cyber threat landscape, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
We seek candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in information security, with a specific focus on threat intelligence, incident response, or security operations, is required. Demonstrated experience with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs), SIEM tools, and malware analysis techniques is essential. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are crucial for interpreting complex data and identifying meaningful patterns. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for producing clear and concise reports and presenting findings. Certifications such as GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), or similar are a plus.
