Our client is seeking a diligent and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join their fully remote operations team. This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and materials throughout the supply chain. You will be responsible for coordinating logistics, managing inventory, communicating with suppliers and carriers, and resolving any supply chain disruptions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen understanding of supply chain principles. Experience with supply chain software and a commitment to optimizing processes are highly valued.

- Coordinate the movement of goods and materials from suppliers to the organization and to customers.
- Manage and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and minimizing stock-outs or excess inventory.
- Track shipments and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Process purchase orders and manage delivery schedules.
- Resolve any logistical challenges or disruptions in the supply chain promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as sales, production, and warehousing, to align supply chain activities with business needs.
- Assist in forecasting demand and planning for future supply chain requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation requirements for shipments.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs within the supply chain.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and supplier performance.
- Communicate effectively with all parties involved in the supply chain, providing clear and concise information.
- Support the procurement team in sourcing and evaluating new suppliers.
