Our client, a rapidly growing international firm, is seeking an experienced and strategic Lead Procurement Specialist to oversee their global sourcing and purchasing operations. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from your preferred location while driving significant cost savings and ensuring supply chain resilience. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust procurement strategies, identifying and qualifying new suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to achieve the best possible terms and quality. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of procurement best practices, market analysis, and risk management. You will lead a remote team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include conducting spend analysis, developing sourcing plans, managing tenders, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and ethical standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization. Strong negotiation and communication skills are critical for building effective relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors worldwide. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity, is required. Experience with e-procurement systems and international sourcing is highly advantageous.
