Role Summary
:
We're looking for a
creative, detail-oriented Marketing Assistant
who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This entry-level role is perfect for someone digitally savvy, proactive, and eager to support a wide range of marketing initiatives across multiple brands.
From social media and content creation to campaign coordination and branded materials, this role offers diverse exposure in a dynamic, multi-brand environment. While we work with external designers for most major assets, strong design skills in Canva and a natural flair for social media are essential.
Key Responsibilities
:
1. Graphic Design & Creative Support (Top Priority)
- Design engaging digital and print assets using Canva (Pro).
- Adapt and repurpose existing templates while maintaining brand guidelines.
- Produce quick-turnaround designs for social media, in-store promotions, and internal needs.
- Ensure visual consistency and creativity across all brands.
2. Social Media & Community Management
- Schedule and publish content on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok using brand-approved visuals.
- Respond to direct messages, comments, and mentions across platforms in a timely and brand-consistent manner.
- Liaise with Brand Managers when needed to respond knowledgeably to customer inquiries.
- Track engagement metrics and flag top-performing posts or audience insights.
3. Content Creation

- Capture video and photo content in stores, including reels and TikTok-style clips for brand use.
- Edit content using mobile-friendly software or in-app tools (e.g., CapCut).
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Brand Managers on seasonal or promotional storytelling
- Bring a fresh and authentic voice to social content that resonates with a younger audience.
4. Administrative & Campaign Support
- Assist with campaign timelines and on-time delivery of marketing materials.
- Organize and maintain artwork files, digital assets and promotional archives.
- Prepare briefs, reports, and meeting notes.
- Support CRM (Customer Relationship Management) initiatives (loyalty management, segmentation, targeted offers).
- Oversee procurement of printed and branded collateral.
- Assist with event logistics for mall and in-store events on an ad hoc basis.
5. Cross-Team Collaboration
- Interact regularly with Brand Managers, Commercial Director, and other internal departments to gather inputs or feedback.
- Support coordination with external suppliers, printers, and mall marketing teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a marketing, administrative, or content creation role.
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, and a genuine passion for using social media as a creative and strategic tool to connect with audiences.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Canva required; basic Excel skills preferred.
- Experience with simple video editing tools is a plus.
- Competence to build and sustain interpersonal relationships.
- Highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn.
- A team player with good communication skills and high level of integrity, confidentiality, and reliability.
Work Environment:
- This is a full-time, office-based position in Nairobi. Some travel to store locations may be required.
