Role Description
The Field Officer will be responsible for overseeing export avocado sourcing operations, ensuring that produce meets quality standards, contracting farmers, and ensuring adherence to agricultural practices and protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience in agricultural sourcing operations
- Knowledge of sustainable farming practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct field visits and collect data
- Proficiency in project management and reporting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field
- Previous experience in working with export-quality produce is a plus
